Beef Noodle Casserole
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. ground beef [sirloin]
- 1 bag of noodles
- 2 large cans of [Hunts] tomato sauce
- 6 buds of chopped garlic
- 2 tbs. Italian seasoning salt & pepper
- 2 cups of sour cream
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 1 bag (2 cups) Mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Cook 2 large cans [Hunts] tomato sauce in large pot
Add chopped garlic [6 buds]
2 tbs. Italian seasoning, salt & pepper.
Cook till thick.
Cook bag of noodles as directed.
Brown 2lbs of ground beef [sirloin]
Add 1 large chopped onion,
Drain and add to tomato
Mix, simmer until thick.
Mix 2 cups sour cream and 2 cups ricotta cheese
[or cottage cheese]
Set aside, spray 9x13 glass casserole [or grease one]
Pour a small amount of tomato mix in just to coat the bottom of dish.
Spread 1/2 the noodles, then spread all the cream mixture over them.
Sprinkle 1 bag [2 cups ] Mozzarella cheese over the cream mixture,
Add the rest of the noodles over the Mozzarella cheese.
Dot 6 tbs. of butter over the
noodles, pour rest of tomato and meat mix over top.
Bake at 350 degrees till
bubbly.
